The MTR® System at Futurebuild in London

Metal.Ri will be present at Futurebuild 2022, the most important trade fair event in Great Britain dedicated to the world of eco-construction.

Defined as a pioneer of “Net Zero” (net zero emissions), Futurebuild aims to present new techniques, solutions and new construction materials, linked to the themes of sustainability and energy efficiency. The construction sector is responsible, in fact, for approximately 35% of energy consumption in the world and nearly 40% of global CO2 emissions. Building at zero impact therefore becomes a primary necessity. The challenge of the future will be to use alternative construction systems to traditional ones.

Metal.Ri will participate by proposing its own MTR® System and illustrating the advantages linked to the complete prefabrication of horizontal structures.
With the use of the fully self-supporting MTR® A beam in combination with any type of floor slab, such as the hollow-core floor slab or the predalles slab, it is indeed possible to significantly reduce construction times for the entire structure, eliminating the manual work typical of traditional construction sites. With a single MTR® element, formwork and load-bearing reinforcement are combined, resulting in the complete elimination of props and timber panels.
Speed of execution, reduction of on-site work and elimination of ancillary materials all contribute to a lower environmental impact and resource consumption.

Sustainable construction is an issue to which we at Metal.Ri have always paid attention. Attendance at Futurebuild will be an opportunity to make our technical expertise known to designers and companies operating in Great Britain.

The event is in London, from 1 to 3 March 2022, at ExCeL London, Stand D 70.
